Education Extension Services

The laboratory offers a wide range of programs that encompass seafood safety, quality, processing, value-added products, regulatory compliance, utilization and health and nutrition.

Applied research projects focus on finfish and shellfish, marine and freshwater, wild-caught and farm-raised.

Audiences include processors, wholesalers, resellers and entrepreneurs, as well as recreational anglers, family cooks, food service workers and public health inspectors.
